Skating Weather

Don't you hate Winter? I do. I mean, skiing is awesome and I definitely have a great time participating in it. But I despise not being able to skate outside during those cold, dark Wintern nights. Although I do have a skatepark in my basement, sometimes its fun to take the board out into the street and chill out there. I live in Maine, so this is hardly any option anytime from November to April.

Guys, I have got the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Its actually what I'm typing this on. So far, ICS is amazing and so is the hardware on this baby.

SO RIDICLOUS!

Ok, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus needs to launch VERY soon or I'm going to go insane. I can't wait any longer. Now there are reports that the December 8th launch date is scrapped and December 11th is replacing that? NO!! I simply cannot wait any longer with my extremely outdated phone, the iPhone 3GS. I also read a report where there was a ton of speculation. Way too much for my liking, anyway. I've decided NEVER to visit the website again because their reports are based upon a great amount of speculation. Anyways, VERIZON: LAUNCH THE SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS BEFORE 2012 OR I WILL GO MAD.


Please.

C'mon, Verizon!

I want the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I want it badly. But I won't be getting it if Verizon doesn't ever launch the darn thing! I mean, C'mon. Samsung originally had said that the device would be available come November. Well, it's November and we only have a week left in the month. Do I see a Samsung Galaxy Nexus available on Verizon's shelfs? Nope. Do you? Huh? What was that? No, you don't. It has been officially delayed until December by Verizon. See, Samsung is ready to launch the device but Verizon is delaying it for reasons unknown. Canada is getting it on December 7th, so hopefully the U.S. will get it towards the beginning of the month as well.

Modern Warfare 3

I recently purchased the latest installment in the COD series, Modern Warfare 3. To put it quite bluntly, this game is epic. Guns fell fantastic in the hand, gameplay is smooth, and it's overall the best FPS game I've ever played.

Longing for a good session...

Damn, I really need to skate. You know that feeling you get when you haven't been on a board for a while? It's almost like you're slowly being dragged to the skateboard unknowingly...haha, I've got that feeling. I haven't been on my board in a long time and it's killing me! So, that's my skateboarded related question for you guys.

Have you ever experienced an extreme longing to just chill and skate?

Undecided

Have you ever been really undecided on a major decision? Well, that's the rut I'm stuck in at the particular moment. I simply am torn between updating from an iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 4S or the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I'm leaning more towards the Samsung Galaxy Nexus right now due to it's more customizable UI. It will also feature Vanilla Android, which is huge. I mean, quick updates within the Android world? That's almost freakin' unheard of. But I am, admittedly, an Apple fanboy. I have loved my 3GS and I simply can't imagine not using iOS.

Suggestions?

Movie - The Social Network

I've recently taken a deep interest in the movie "The Social Network". This is simply because the acting is great, the plot is amazing, and the movie is just overall excellent. (Keep in mind, this is in my opinion.) There is one aspect of the movie that annoys me, though. And that is the fact that the movie doesn't follow the history of Facebook accurately. Although the movie does follow the actual story of Facebook, in some places. I've seen this movie before, but only this week have I become greatly interested in it.

Batman: Arkham City

I've recently been watching some videos on the video game Batman: Arkham City. I was a huge fan of Batman: Arkham Asylum. And let me tell you, this game looks EPIC! The gamplay is smooth, graphics are amazing, and the characters are as awesome as ever. But I must say, there is one minor thing that bothers me about the game. I really HATE hearing Hugo Strange over the intercom most of the time. I really thought hearing Joker over the loud speaker was much more interesting. Anyways, what do YOU think? What are your favorite new games?

Which Class Do YOU Dislike The Most?

Mine is easily math. I've always felt mathematically challenged. Currently, I'm in Science class and it is SO boring.

Cirque Du Freak

I've recently started reading the "Cirque Du Freak" series and have discovered that they are, in fact, pretty good! I'm on the 7th book in the series, and I intend to finish all 12 books. Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know about a book that I'm enjoying.

What would you guys think of something like this?:


-The computer is so smart that it anticipates what the user wants it to do. For example, John wakes up at precisely 6:30 every morning. Once he has awaken, John always visits www.yahoo.com first thing in the morning. So, at 6:30 in the morning everyday, John’s computer will turn on and boot up www.yahoo.com

If a user often clicks on certain applications or buttons in a specific pattern (ex: most of the time you click on Safari, then Pages, then Dictionary, and then iTunes. The computer will automatically open those applications in a way that makes sense)...like if that’s the routine you perform most days, the computer will perform it for you automatically if it senses that you are going to be clicking on that particular icon extremely soon. Far fetched, but possible.  

MW2 vs. Black Ops

What is your preference? In my opinion, MW2 is a superior game. The guns are more fun to use, the maps are, in many cases, much better, and the gameplay is just overall great. Putting aside the noobtubes and commando knife lunges, it's a decent game. I'm sick and tired of people in Black Ops who just go around using the Famas game after game. Yes, the Famas has been nerfed but it is still overpowered. Also, Black Ops has so many maps that are just absolutely awful. (Think Array, Hotel, Hanoi, Jungle etc.) But, that's just my opinion. What is yours?

iPhone 4S

Both my Mom and Brother have gotten an iPhone 4S. Some first impressions:

  Siri is great-especially for those who hate typing on virtual keyboards. But, it is definitely a feature that I don't see myself using. It seems impractical, in my opinion. I LOVE typing on onscreen keyboards, so it's no biggey for me.

-The 8 megapixel camera is AMAZING. The photos it snaps are absolutely breathtaking.

-iOS 5 is fantastic. The new and improved notification system is tremendous to have, shortcuts around the OS are splendid, and, overall, it feels just great.

-The new A5 dual core processor is fast. Like, super speedy. It's going to be an excellent speed boost when I upgrade from the 3GS.

The iPhone 4S is an incremental upgrade, but that doesn't mean it can't be awesome. I'm digging it so far.  I'll keep ya updated!
